ITINERARY
On this Cape Town Hop-On Hop-Off tour, you have the freedom to plan your own sightseeing itinerary. Your hop-on, hop-off ticket has two validity options - 1-day ticket or 2-day ticket.
The open-topped, red City Sightseeing buses operate on 4 routes and include three FREE walking tours. The 2-day ticket also includes a harbour cruise and a sunset bus tour.
Your Cape Town hop-on, hop-off ticket allows you unlimited use, meaning you can hop-on and hop-off as many times as you like at any of the designated stops on the following four routes:
Cape Town City Tour: This route takes you to Cape Town’s City Bowl, Camps Bay and the Atlantic Seaboard area. The main attractions include:

• Table Mountain Aerial Cableway
• Camps Bay
• St John's Road, Sea Point
Cape Town Mini Peninsula Tour: This route circles the back of Table Mountain, letting you take in the scenery of the mountain’s southern slopes. Major highlights include:

• World of Birds
• Imizamo Yethu Township
• Mariner's Wharf
• Green Point and Urban Park
Cape Town Downtown Tour: Discover the cultural and historical landmarks in Cape Town in this route. Attractions include:
• The South African Museum
• District Six Museum
• Castle of Good Hope
• St. George's Cathedral
• SA Jewish Museum
Cape Town Wine Tour: On this route, explore South Africa’s rich wine heritage. Major highlights include:
• Groot Constantia
• Eagles' Nest
• Beau Constantia

FREE Walking Tours:
The Historic City Walk The Historic City Walk takes you to places such as the City Hall, where Mr. Nelson Mandela made his first speech as a free man, as well as a walk down to Tuynhuys to learn about the Dutch era and slavery – with a stop in the garden by the old tree, which is 362 years old. It also includes a stop by the benches in front of Cape High Court where your guide will talk about the Classification Act and the Separation Act before making your way onto the Slave Lodge and the Eastern Food Bazaar. The 90-minute tour departs at 2pm and 4:15pm from Long Street ticket office.
The Bo-Kaap Walk: The Bo-Kaap walk takes you along the cobbled streets of Bo-Kaap through the beautiful, brightly coloured houses where you will learn about the history of the Muslim population and see Cape Town’s first Mosque. You will hear about the popular Cape Malay food and even be advised on where to soak up some of Cape Town’s enticing nightlife. The tour starts at 2pm and 4:15pm from Long Street ticket office.
District 6 Walk: Discover the artistic hub of Cape Town and learn about the colourful past of District 6 – once a haven for musicians, artists and “good” and “bad” gangsters. See the resettlement of people who once lived in District Six, back in the area – and gain insider knowledge about where to get a bargain breakfast or delicious slice of cake. The tour starts at 11am and 2pm from Long Street ticket office.
Harbour Cruise (Only available with the 2-day ticket)
Observe the city from the water and learn about Cape Town rich nautical history. Sail past resident seals to international ships visiting the busy shores around the Victoria and Alfred basins. The Waterfront Harbour Cruise departs every 30 minutes from 9am to 5pm from and returns to the jetty outside the Two Oceans Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront.
Cape Town Sunset Tour (Only available with the 2-day ticket)
With your 2-day hop-on, hop-off ticket you can also be a part of Cape Town Sunset Tour. There is nothing quite like Cape Town on a warm summers evening. With the smell of the ocean on the breeze and Table Mountain lit up as a spectacular back drop - the Night Tour allows you to experience a whole new side of the city.
The Night Tour departs daily from Two Oceans Aquarium at 6pm (1 Nov to 7 March) and 5:30pm (9 March - 3 May)
